Our position

Memorial Program Studio is a tool families use to make their own programs and slideshows from their own material. We do not distribute music, and most of what a family gives us stays in the files they download. A memorial page is the exception: the photographs and words a family puts on one, a reading among them, are published at an address anyone who has it can open.

Uploaded music

A family may add their own songs to the private version of a slideshow, after confirming they have the right to use them for a private memorial. That version is only ever downloaded by the family; it is never streamed from a memorial page.

A family's own reading

A family may print a reading in the program and show it on the memorial page, after confirming they have the right to use those words in both places. Readings from our own library are in the public domain. Words a family brings themselves we cannot check, so if you believe your work is on a memorial page without your permission, tell us below: we act on every notice, and a page can come down the same day.

Reporting a problem

If you believe a memorial page or file uses your work without permission, write to hello@memorialprogramstudio.com with the address of the page, a description of the work, and how we can reach you. We act on every notice and reply as people.

Reporting a page

Every memorial page has a "Report this page" link at the bottom for anything else that should not be there. Reports go to a person and pages can be taken down the same day.
